What is SaveLend Plus and how does it work?

SaveLend Plus is a savings product for companies that offers a fixed interest rate of 6%, with monthly interest payments corresponding to 0.5% of the invested capital. The interest rate is updated every 12 months and is based on the rate for our savings product SaveLend Fixed, with an additional 0.5 percentage points.

SaveLend Plus runs indefinitely, with the option to withdraw up to 25% of the originally invested capital on a quarterly basis, with payment made within 90 days from the date the withdrawal request is submitted.

The minimum investment in the product is SEK 1,000,000 and the maximum investment is SEK 10,000,000. Currently, savings can only be made in SEK, and you can activate one savings plan per month.

In connection with opening your first SaveLend Plus account, we will automatically create a transfer depot for you. This account will be used to temporarily hold the capital to be invested in SaveLend Plus, as well as to receive your interest payments and any capital you choose to withdraw.

How is interest calculated for SaveLend Plus?

SaveLend Plus offers a fixed annual interest rate of 6%, where 0.5% is paid out monthly based on the current capital.

What are the risks of SaveLend Plus?

SaveLend Plus is not a savings account, and money invested in SaveLend Plus does not constitute a deposit. Therefore, the government deposit guarantee and investor protection do not apply to SaveLend Plus.

However, if SaveLend were to become insolvent, you would still retain the right to recover your lent capital (read more about how this works here).

The purpose of SaveLend Plus is to provide predictability in returns. When you invest in SaveLend Plus, your capital is invested across many different credit assets, similar to other investment products on SaveLend’s platform. The difference is a form of profit-sharing designed to provide a fixed return of 6% over 12 months.

If the portfolio yields less than 6%, SaveLend will contribute capital to ensure the return reaches 6%. If the portfolio instead yields more than 6%, SaveLend retains the excess return.
